The5ers Programs Explained: High Stakes, 2-Step, Hyper Growth and Bootcamp
The5ers High Stakes, 2-Step, Hyper Growth and Bootcamp programs explained: targets, loss limits, news rules, scaling, payout caps and fees.

The5ers (The 5%ers) has run since 2016 and sells several evaluation programs for CFD traders. The names overlap and the official pages do not always agree, so it is easy to buy the wrong one. This guide separates the four programs most traders compare: High Stakes, the $100K 2-Step plan, Hyper Growth and Bootcamp.
All details come from The5ers' own program pages and FAQs, checked on 3 November 2026. Where pages contradict each other, we say so. Every account we track is also in our prop firm rules database.
What all four programs share
- No time limit to pass. Accounts with no activity for more than 30 consecutive days expire.
- Overnight and weekend holding allowed. Holding indices over the weekend can carry a high swap.
- Scaling plans that raise the account size and, on some programs, the profit split.
- The5ers supports MT5, cTrader and TradingView. Check which platforms your program offers at checkout.
High Stakes (2-Step)
High Stakes is The5ers' standard two-phase evaluation. The High Stakes page lists these rules:
- Account sizes: $2.5K, $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K and $100K.
- Profit targets: 10% in Step 1, 5% in Step 2.
- Daily loss: 5%.
- Maximum loss: 10%.
- Minimum profitable days: 3. A profitable day needs closed profit of at least 0.5% of the initial balance.
- Leverage: 1:100.
- News: no orders from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news.
Once funded as a Pro Trader, the account scales after each 10% target. The split starts at 80% and rises with account size: 85% at $175K and $200K, 90% at $250K and $300K, and 100% plus a fixed payout from $350K. Scaling runs up to $500,000.
The page does not list prices per size clearly. Check the checkout page for the size you want.
Who it suits: traders who want a 5% daily limit, high leverage and a long scaling path, and who can avoid the two-minute news window.
The $100K 2-Step plan (New and Classic)
This is a separate product from High Stakes, even though menus group them together. The5ers' 2-Step plan FAQ (last updated 7 September 2026) describes two $100K tiers:
- New (10/5): $149, with targets of 10% then 5%.
- Classic (8/5): $179, with targets of 8% then 5%.
Both share these rules:
- Daily loss: 3% of the previous day's closing balance or equity, whichever is higher.
- Maximum loss: 10% of the initial balance.
- Consistency: none during the evaluation. A 50% consistency requirement applies on the funded account.
- Payouts: $250 minimum profit to request, capped at $2,000 per payout cycle.
The5ers' Summer Plan page lists a 75/25 split for these accounts. It describes a staged refund: 10% after Step 1, 20% after Step 2 and the remaining 70% with the third payout, paid as Hub Credit. The same page sells $200K versions at $249 (10/5) and $279 (8/5) with an 80/20 split and a $3,000 cap per cycle. It is labelled "Limited Time Only" with no end date.
Note the key difference from High Stakes: a 3% daily loss here, not 5%. That changes how much you can risk per day.
Who it suits: traders who want a low price on a $100K account and can work with a tighter daily limit and capped payouts.
Hyper Growth (1-Step)
Hyper Growth is a single-phase program and one of The5ers' lowest-cost entries. The Hyper Growth page lists:
- Fee: from $52, one-time.
- Profit target: 10%.
- Daily loss: 3%.
- Stop-out (maximum loss): 6%.
- Leverage: 1:30.
- News: allowed, except bracket strategies around news.
The account scales after each 10% target. The page lists a 75/25 split up to $300K, 80/20 at $350K, and 80% to 100% from $400K to $500K.
The page is unclear on minimum days. It says there are no minimum trades or days for level 1, but a table lists 3 minimum profitable days in one column. Check before you plan around it.
Who it suits: traders who want to start small and cheaply and are comfortable with a 6% stop-out against a 10% target.
Bootcamp (3-Step)
Bootcamp is a low-cost, three-step program that ends in a small funded account. The Bootcamp page lists:
- Steps: $5,000, then $10,000, then $15,000. Each needs a 6% target with a 5% maximum loss.
- Daily limit: none during the three steps.
- Pro Trader stage: a $20,000 account with a 5% target to scale, a 4% maximum loss and a 3% daily pause.
- Leverage: 1:30 at every stage.
- Profit share: up to 100% as the account scales.
The fee structure is unclear on the page. The table shows $22 at Step 1 and $50 at the Pro Trader stage, while the page title mentions $95. The scaling trigger is also described as both 5% and 10%. Confirm both before buying.
Who it suits: newer traders who want a cheap, slow path with no daily limit in the evaluation steps. The trade-off is a small starting account and three targets to hit.
Quick comparison
- Lowest entry cost: Bootcamp or Hyper Growth.
- Most daily room: High Stakes (5% daily loss).
- Cheapest $100K: the $100K 2-Step plan, with a 3% daily loss.
- Single phase: Hyper Growth.
- No daily limit during evaluation: Bootcamp steps 1 to 3.
Turning the limits into dollars
Percentages hide how different these programs feel. On a $100K account:
- High Stakes: a $5,000 daily loss and a $90,000 floor.
- $100K 2-Step plan: roughly $3,000 of daily loss (3% of the previous day's closing balance or equity, whichever is higher) and a $90,000 floor.
On the smaller programs, the dollar room is tight. A $5,000 Bootcamp Step 1 with a 5% maximum loss allows only $250 of total drawdown. Trade micro lots and keep risk per trade small.
Use the drawdown calculator to turn these percentages into dollar limits, and the position size calculator to size trades within them.
Downsides to weigh
- Official pages contradict each other on some prices and rules.
- Funded accounts have payout minimums and caps per cycle.
- High Stakes and the 2-Step plan bar new orders around high-impact news.
- Refunds on some plans arrive in stages or as Hub Credit, not cash.
- Inactive accounts expire after 30 days.
