Our Review
Pros
- No time limits on any evaluation (only a 30-day inactivity expiry)
- Scaling plans with profit split up to 100%
- Low-cost entry options such as Hyper Growth from $52
Cons
- Official pages contradict each other on some rules, so check before buying
- Per-payout caps and minimums on funded accounts
- High Stakes bars new orders within 2 minutes of high-impact news
The5ers suits patient forex and CFD traders who want to grow one account over time rather than chase a big first payout. It has run since 2016, none of its evaluations has a time limit, and its scaling plans lift the profit split as the account grows. The catch is complexity. The5ers sells several overlapping plans with different daily loss limits, refund schedules and payout caps. Some of its own pages disagree, so read the rules for the exact plan you buy.
Programs and prices
The5ers (also written The 5%ers) sells several CFD evaluation plans, plus a separate futures product not covered here. Prices below are the ones its official pages showed on 3 November 2026.
- High Stakes (2-Step): account sizes from $2,500 to $100,000, in "New" and "Classic" versions. The product page did not show a readable price for each size, so check the checkout.
- $100K 2-Step plan: $149 for the New version (10% then 5% targets) or $179 for the Classic version (8% then 5%). Both are listed on the Summer Plan page.
- Summer Plan $200K High Stakes: $249 (10%/5%) or $279 (8%/5%). The page says "Limited Time Only" with no end date.
- 1-Step $100K: $249.
- Hyper Growth (1-Step): $52 for the $5,000 account. Other sizes were not priced on the page.
- Bootcamp (3-Step): $22 to start Step 1 on a $5,000 balance, plus $50 when you reach the funded Pro Trader stage.
The names overlap. A "2-Step" at The5ers can mean the High Stakes program or the $100K 2-Step plan, and their rules differ. Match the plan name at checkout to the rules page before you pay.
Trading rules
Every The5ers evaluation has unlimited time to pass. Accounts with no activity for more than 30 consecutive days expire. The daily loss limit is where the plans differ most.
High Stakes
- Profit target: 10% in Step 1, then 5% in Step 2.
- Maximum daily loss: 5%, per the High Stakes product page.
- Maximum loss: 10%.
- Minimum days: 3 profitable days. A profitable day means closed positions made at least 0.5% of the initial balance.
- Leverage: 1:100.
$100K 2-Step plan
- Profit target: 10% then 5% (New) or 8% then 5% (Classic).
- Maximum daily loss: 3% of the previous day's closing balance or equity, whichever is higher.
- Maximum loss: 10% of the initial balance.
- Consistency: none in the evaluation; a 50% rule applies on the funded account.
The5ers' 2-Step plan FAQ (updated 7 September 2026) gives these figures. The High Stakes page lists 5%. Do not assume one number covers both.
1-Step and Hyper Growth
- Profit target: 10%.
- Daily loss: 3%. On the 1-Step it is measured from end-of-day equity or balance, whichever is higher. On Hyper Growth it works as a daily pause: the account stops for the day, then resumes.
- Maximum loss: 6% from the initial balance.
- Consistency: the 1-Step applies a 50% per-day rule in the evaluation and funded stages.
- Hyper Growth cap: combined evaluation capital is limited to $40,000 per trader.
Bootcamp
- Steps: three evaluation steps on $5,000, $10,000 and $15,000 balances, each with a 6% target and a 5% max loss.
- Daily loss: no daily limit during the steps. A 3% daily pause starts at the $20,000 Pro Trader stage.
- Funded stage: 5% target to scale and a tighter 4% max loss.
- Leverage: 1:30.
A 6% max loss with a 10% target, as on the 1-Step and Hyper Growth, leaves little room. Test your risk per trade with our drawdown calculator, and see our daily loss limit guide for how balance- and equity-based limits differ.
News and weekend rules
On High Stakes you may hold open trades through news. You may not execute orders from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news. Profits made in that window are deducted, while losses stay on the account. Hyper Growth and Bootcamp allow news trading but ban bracket strategies around news. Weekend holding is allowed; holding indices over the weekend carries a high swap.
Payouts and profit split
High Stakes funded traders can request a payout every 14 days. The minimum withdrawal is $150. Each account size also has a cap and a minimum profit per payout:
- $50,000 High Stakes: $3,000 cap, $300 minimum profit.
- $100,000 High Stakes: $4,000 cap, $500 minimum profit.
- $100K 2-Step plan: $2,000 cap per payout cycle, $250 minimum profit.
- $200K Summer Plan: $3,000 cap per payout cycle.
- 1-Step $100K: $2,000 cap.
Profit splits depend on the plan. High Stakes starts at 80% and rises with scaling: 85% at $175,000, 90% at $250,000, and 100% plus a fixed payout from $350,000. The $200K Summer Plan pays 80% with no scaling. The $100K 2-Step plan and the 1-Step pay 75%. Hyper Growth's page shows a 75% start, while The5ers' explainer article says 50%.
Fee refunds come in stages, and the timing depends on the plan:
- High Stakes: 10% of the fee as Hub Credit after Step 1 and 20% after Step 2. The remaining 70% comes with the first payout, once the funded account has been active 14 days and made at least $150.
- $100K 2-Step plan: the same 10% and 20% Hub Credits, with the remaining 70% from the third payout. The5ers' refund FAQ, updated 2 November 2026, says this 70% is paid as Hub Credit, while the Summer Plan page says "withdraw". Ask support which applies to you.
- 1-Step: the Summer Plan page lists the refund "from 3rd payout", plus a 10% Hub Credit bonus on passing.
Hub Credit cannot be withdrawn. Read The5ers' payout policy FAQ for the full conditions.
Platforms and instruments
Non-US traders can choose MetaTrader 5, cTrader or TradingView. US traders get TradingView only, and cTrader is closed to new US accounts. cTrader adds a $10 fee to the program price. Your platform choice is final once you buy.
Markets include forex, metals, indices, oil and crypto. Expert advisors are allowed, but The5ers bans latency arbitrage, tick scalping and rollover scalping.
Who it suits / who should skip
The5ers suits you if
- You want to scale one account over months. High Stakes scales to $500,000.
- You want to start small. Bootcamp starts at $22 and Hyper Growth at $52.
- You trade slowly. No plan has a time limit.
- You hold positions over weekends.
Consider skipping if
- You want one clear rulebook. Plans overlap, and some pages contradict each other.
- You plan big single payouts. Per-cycle caps of $2,000 to $4,000 limit early withdrawals.
- You want your fee back in cash quickly. Several plans refund mainly in Hub Credit, some only from the third payout.
- You trade around high-impact releases on High Stakes.

FAQ
Is The5ers' daily loss limit 3% or 5%?
It depends on the plan. The High Stakes page lists 5%. The $100K 2-Step plan, the 1-Step and Hyper Growth use 3%. Bootcamp has no daily limit until the funded stage, where a 3% pause applies.
When does The5ers refund the fee?
On High Stakes, you get 10% and 20% Hub Credits after each step, then 70% with the first payout. On the $100K 2-Step plan, the final 70% comes from the third payout. The 1-Step refunds from the third payout.
Does The5ers have a time limit?
No. All evaluations have unlimited time, but accounts expire after 30 consecutive days without activity.
How often does The5ers pay out?
High Stakes allows a payout request every 14 days, subject to the per-cycle cap and minimum profit for your account size.
