Compare Prop Firms
Side-by-side comparison of prices, profit splits, account sizes and payout schedules for the forex and futures firms we track.
Prices are list prices before discounts, in the currency each firm uses. Rules change often, so always confirm on the firm's own site before buying.
Methodology
How we compare
Official sources only
Prices and rules come from each firm's own website and help center. Where a firm's pages disagree, we say so.
Total cost, not sticker price
We count activation fees, monthly rebills and refund terms, because a cheap challenge can cost more by payout day.
Rules that fail traders
Trailing drawdown, daily loss limits and consistency rules weigh heavily in our scores, since they decide who actually gets paid.
Commissions never buy rank
We earn affiliate commissions from some firms. Scores and order are set before any partnership. Read our disclosure.
How to compare prop firms
The cheapest challenge is not always the cheapest way to get funded. Compare firms on the rules that decide whether you pass and how much you keep, not just the entry price.
- Total cost: add monthly fees, activation fees and resets. A one-time fee can beat a lower monthly price if you need more than a month to pass.
- Drawdown type: a static limit gives you more room as you profit; a trailing limit follows your high. See trailing vs static drawdown.
- Daily loss limit: check whether it is based on balance or equity, and when the trading day resets.
- Consistency and minimum days: these can delay a pass or a payout even when you hit the target.
- Payouts: compare the split, how soon you can withdraw, and any buffer you must build first.
Every firm in the table links to a full review, and every challenge is listed with its rules in our rules database.
Comparison FAQ
Which prop firm is cheapest?
It depends on how long you take to pass. Futures firms often charge a monthly fee, while forex firms usually charge once. Our guide to the cheapest prop firm challenges works through the total cost.
Are forex or futures prop firms better?
Neither is better for everyone. Forex firms suit traders who hold positions and want a static drawdown; futures firms suit index and commodity day traders. Read forex vs futures prop firms.
How often is this comparison updated?
We check firms against their official pages and show the date we last verified each challenge. Prices and rules change often, so confirm on the firm's site before you buy.
