Take Profit Trader Test $150K
Key numbers
Trading rules
The Take Profit Trader Test $150K is a 1-Step evaluation from Take Profit Trader on a $150K account. It costs an amount you should confirm on the firm's site. Here are its rules in plain English, from our database row last checked against Take Profit Trader's official pages on 3 November 2026.
What you need to pass
- Profit target: $9,000 (6%).
- Daily loss limit: $3,300 (2.2%). Losing more than this in one trading day breaks the rule.
- Maximum drawdown: 3% ($4,500), an end-of-day trailing limit: the floor moves up only from your closing balance each day, not from intraday highs.
- Minimum trading days: 3.
- Time limit: Unlimited.
Trading rules
- News trading: Allowed in Test; PRO/PRO+ must be flat 1 min before/after FOMC, NFP, CPI (and product-specific events).
- Overnight and weekend holding: Not allowed.
- EAs and automation: Not permitted - trades must be placed manually; approved trade copiers allowed only for own accounts (secondary: tradetanto 2026-07-16).
- Consistency rule: 50%: no single day may be 50%+ of profit target; does not fail the account, trader keeps trading until best day <50%.
What it means in practice
As an illustration, risking 1% of the account per trade ($1,500) gives you room for 2 full losses in a row before the daily limit and 3 before the maximum drawdown. Many traders size smaller, around 0.25–0.5%, so a bad day can't end the account. Use our position size calculator to turn a dollar risk into lots or contracts.
Because the drawdown trails, track your current floor before each session, not just your starting balance. The drawdown calculator works it out.
