Short answer: Clarity Traders publishes clear rules, prices and a payout process, and says plainly that all accounts are simulated. But its reputation has a serious warning sign. Trustpilot has withheld its rating for a breach of guidelines and says it removed fake reviews. Many negative reviews describe payouts denied for rule breaches. This page sets out what we found so you can judge.

Who runs Clarity Traders

  • Company: Clarity Traders LLC, based in Dover, Delaware, USA.
  • Products: Instant, One Step and Two Step simulated accounts from $5,000 to $200,000.
  • Support: live chat and support@claritytraders.com, per its FAQ.
  • Related brands: Clarity FX, which Clarity describes as a separate broker, and Clarity Tracking, a trade journal.

Clarity's site does not name founders or give a founding year that we could find. That is less than some older firms disclose.

How the business model works

You pay a fee for a simulated account. On One Step and Two Step you must hit a profit target first. Instant accounts skip that step. If you follow the rules, Clarity pays you a share of your simulated profit. Its Instant page says: "All trading takes place in a simulated environment with virtual funds."

So you are not trading Clarity's real money. Rewards are paid from the firm's business, which fees fund. Prices start at $55 for a $5,000 Two Step. See our Clarity Traders review for the full price list.

Payout terms

Clarity sets out its process on its How Payouts Work page:

  • Funded accounts need at least 7 trading days before a payout.
  • You can request every 14 days, or weekly with the paid Express Payouts add-on.
  • Identity verification (KYC) is required before the first payout.
  • Clarity reviews your trades against the rules before paying.
  • Payment is in USDT on the Ethereum network (ERC-20) only.
  • The split is 70%, then 80%, then 90%, or 100% with a paid add-on.

Clarity's site claims "80,000+ traders" and "$10M+ processed". These are the firm's own figures and we cannot audit them.

The Trustpilot warning

When we checked Trustpilot on 3 November 2026, Clarity's page showed two notices:

  • "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines."
  • "We've removed a number of fake reviews for this company."

334 reviews were still listed: 73% 5-star and 18% 1-star. Many 1-star reviews describe payouts denied and accounts closed after rule breaches, including trades closed in under 60 seconds. Some call the rules vague or one-sided. Several call the firm a scam.

We cannot verify individual reviews, and some complaints come from traders who broke a rule. Still, a withheld rating and removed fake reviews are red flags. They mean you cannot rely on the star count. Weigh the negative reviews more heavily than usual.

Is Clarity Traders regulated?

We found no claim of a licence for its evaluations. Like most prop firms, it sells simulated accounts, not brokerage services. You have no broker-style protection. Your rights come from its Terms and Conditions. Our guide on whether prop firms are legit explains why this matters.

Rules that cause most disputes

  • 60-second minimum: every trade must stay open at least 60 seconds.
  • Banned strategies: HFT, latency arbitrage, hedging across accounts and market manipulation.
  • Consistency rule: on funded accounts, no single day can exceed 20% of a payout request (10% on Instant).
  • Inactivity: trade at least once every 60 days.
  • EAs: only allowed with a paid add-on.

Clarity's FAQ says rule breaches can lead to account closure and loss of payout eligibility. Read its Trading Rules page in full.

Red flags checklist

  • A review platform has withheld the firm's rating or removed fake reviews. Present here.
  • Many recent reviews describe denied payouts. Present here.
  • Payouts only in crypto, with no bank option. Present here.
  • No named legal entity or address. Not the case: Clarity names Clarity Traders LLC.
  • Rules that are vague or missing. Clarity publishes detailed rules with dollar examples.

How to protect yourself

  • Start with the smallest account and test a full payout before scaling up.
  • Screenshot the rules and price on the day you buy.
  • Hold every trade for well over 60 seconds.
  • Check your best day against the consistency rule before each request.
  • Double-check your USDT wallet address; wrong-address payments cannot be recovered.
  • Run through our prop firm challenge checklist.

Common questions

Is Clarity Traders a scam?

We have no proof either way. It publishes its company name, rules and payout process. But the Trustpilot warning and the pattern of denied-payout complaints are real risks to weigh.

Why doesn't Clarity Traders have a Trustpilot score?

Trustpilot says the rating is unavailable due to a breach of its guidelines, and that it removed a number of fake reviews.

Does Clarity Traders pay out?

Clarity says it pays in USDT after KYC and a rule review. Reviews are mixed: some report payouts, others report denials for rule breaches.

Is FundedKings owned by Clarity Traders?

No. Clarity Traders is an independent firm and a FundedKings affiliate partner. We may earn a commission from sign-ups through our links.
