FundedNext Stellar 2-Step $100K
Key numbers
Trading rules
The FundedNext Stellar 2-Step $100K is a 2-Step challenge from FundedNext on a $100K account. It costs $549.99, and the fee is refundable under the firm's conditions. Here are its rules in plain English, from our database row last checked against FundedNext's official pages on 3 November 2026.
What you need to pass
- Profit target: 8% ($8,000) in phase 1, then 5% ($5,000) in phase 2.
- Daily loss limit: 5% ($5,000). Losing more than this in one trading day breaks the rule.
- Maximum drawdown: 10% ($10,000), a static limit: the floor is fixed below your starting balance and never moves up.
- Minimum trading days: 5.
- Time limit: Unlimited.
Trading rules
- News trading: Allowed.
- Overnight and weekend holding: Allowed.
- EAs and automation: Not allowed: accounts of $50K and above must trade manually (incl. tools that only set SL, TP or lot size).
What it means in practice
As an illustration, risking 1% of the account per trade ($1,000) gives you room for 5 full losses in a row before the daily limit and 10 before the maximum drawdown. Many traders size smaller, around 0.25–0.5%, so a bad day can't end the account. Use our position size calculator to turn a dollar risk into lots or contracts.
Because the floor is fixed, every dollar of profit adds to your room. That makes the start of the challenge the riskiest part.
