Notes
This $179 $100K row is The5ers' '$100K 2-Step plan' (Classic 8/5), not the High Stakes product ($2.5K-$100K, which lists 5% daily loss). Per 2-Step plan FAQ (updated 7 Sep 2026): daily loss 3% of previous day's closing balance or equity, whichever is higher; max loss 10% of initial balance; no consistency rule in evaluation, 50% on funded; $250 min profit, $2,000 cap per payout cycle. Summer Plan page: 75/25 split; 10% + 20% Hub Credit after each phase, remaining 70% from the 3rd payout (refund FAQ updated 2 Nov 2026 says paid as Hub Credit).

The5ers 2-Step $100K (8%/5%) is a 2-Step challenge from The5ers on a $100K account. It costs $179, and the fee is refundable under the firm's conditions. Here are its rules in plain English, from our database row last checked against The5ers' official pages on 3 November 2026.

What you need to pass

  • Profit target: 8% ($8,000) in phase 1, then 5% ($5,000) in phase 2.
  • Daily loss limit: 3% ($3,000). Losing more than this in one trading day breaks the rule.
  • Maximum drawdown: 10% ($10,000), a static limit: the floor is fixed below your starting balance and never moves up.
  • Minimum trading days: 3.
  • Time limit: Unlimited.

Trading rules

  • Overnight and weekend holding: Allowed.
  • EAs and automation: Allowed, with prohibited strategies.
  • Consistency rule: None in evaluation; 50% on funded.

What it means in practice

As an illustration, risking 1% of the account per trade ($1,000) gives you room for 3 full losses in a row before the daily limit and 10 before the maximum drawdown. Many traders size smaller, around 0.25–0.5%, so a bad day can't end the account. Use our position size calculator to turn a dollar risk into lots or contracts.

Because the floor is fixed, every dollar of profit adds to your room. That makes the start of the challenge the riskiest part.
