FTMO Launches FTMO Futures: Growth and Pro Plans
FTMO Futures is live with Growth and Pro plans from $50K to $150K, monthly fees from $119, an end-of-day trailing drawdown and no activation fee.

FTMO has moved into futures. Its blog announced FTMO Futures on 1 September 2026, and a press release dated 17 September 2026 confirmed the launch to traders worldwide. Until now, FTMO only offered CFD and forex Challenges.
What changed
FTMO Futures is a separate program with its own rules. It has two plans, Growth and Pro, each in $50K, $100K and $150K sizes. Both use a single-phase Evaluation and live CME market data in a simulated environment. The press release lists Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView as platforms.
Unlike FTMO's CFD Challenges, Evaluations are sold as a monthly subscription. Prices are in US dollars, not euros.
Prices and Evaluation rules
These figures come from FTMO's Futures comparison table.
Growth
- Monthly fee: $119 (50K), $169 (100K), $229 (150K).
- Profit target: $3,000, $6,000, $9,000.
- Max drawdown (end-of-day trailing): $2,000, $3,500, $5,000.
- Daily loss limit in the Evaluation: none.
- Max contracts: 5, 10, 15 minis.

There are no minimum trading days. Instead, the Evaluation has a consistency rule. Your best day cannot exceed 40% or 50% of total profit, depending on the plan. Going over is not a breach. You simply keep trading until the ratio falls back under the limit.
The drawdown trails on end-of-day equity and locks permanently at the starting balance. Our guide to end-of-day vs intraday trailing drawdown explains why that matters.
Sim-Funded accounts and payouts
- No activation fee on any plan.
- No consistency rule once Sim-Funded.
- Payout ratio: 90/10 in the trader's favour.
- Growth: request up to 50% of profit above the starting balance. Caps are $2,500, $3,000 and $4,000 per request. You need 4 qualifying days of $150, $250 or $300.
- Pro: request up to 100% of available profit. Caps are $5,000, $6,000 and $8,000 per request. You need 5 qualifying days of $200, $300 or $500.
- At least 50% of each request must be new profit from the current cycle. The minimum payout is $20.
- Contract limits start lower on Sim-Funded accounts (2, 4 or 6) and scale up.
Growth Sim-Funded accounts have a soft daily loss limit of $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000. Hitting it closes your positions for the day but does not end the account. On Pro, the daily limit stays hard. A breach terminates the account.
You can hold up to three Sim-Funded accounts at once, shared across both plans.
Who it affects
This matters most to futures traders who already know FTMO from CFDs. It also adds a new name to compare against firms like Topstep and Tradeify. Existing FTMO CFD Challenges are not changed by the launch.
What it means for traders
The pitch is a known brand, no activation fee and an end-of-day drawdown. Growth suits traders who want room to recover, thanks to no Evaluation daily limit and a soft funded limit. Pro suits traders who want higher payout caps and can live with a hard daily limit.
There are real downsides:
- Subscription billing. Fees recur every month until you pass or cancel. A slow pass costs more.
- Tight drawdown on Growth 50K. $2,000 of room against a $3,000 target leaves little slack.
- Growth payout limits. You can only withdraw half your profit per request.
- New program. FTMO Futures has no long track record yet, and FTMO says it is English only.
All FTMO Futures accounts are demo accounts with fictitious funds. FTMO offers live accounts only to selected top performers.
