Choose your market first
CFD accounts at FTMO give percentage limits and allow holding through the night during the evaluation. Futures accounts at MFFU give dollar limits and close you out each afternoon. If you are unsure which fits, read our guide to forex vs futures prop firms.
FTMO also now runs FTMO Futures, a separate futures program. Its comparison table lists Growth and Pro plans from $119 and $139 a month, billed as a subscription, with no activation fee. See FTMO launches FTMO Futures for the details. This article compares FTMO's CFD Challenges with MFFU.

- 2-Step: €89 (10K), €250 (25K), €345 (50K), €540 (100K), €1,080 (200K).

FTMO says it charges no recurring fees. The 2-Step fee comes back with your first reward request; other fees are non-refundable. Its homepage was advertising 19% off the 100K Challenge.
My Funded Futures (one-time, USD)
MFFU's homepage lists these 50K prices:
- Builder: $153.
- Rapid: $209.
- Rapid EOD: $225.
- Pro: $265.
The homepage also shows lower prices ($92, $125, $135 and $159) that reflect a current promotion. It advertises code CLUB for 40% off any plan, and a banner offering new users 50% off a first evaluation. Codes change, so check at checkout. MFFU says there is no activation fee and no renewal, and evaluation fees are non-refundable.
Profit targets and loss limits
FTMO
From FTMO's trading objectives:
- 2-Step: 10% then 5% targets, 5% Max Daily Loss, 10% Max Loss, 4 minimum trading days.
- 1-Step: 10% target, 3% Max Daily Loss, 10% Max Loss, and a 50% best-day rule for orders from 12 October 2026.
- No time limit on either.
My Funded Futures (50K)
- Target: $3,000 on every 50K plan.
- Max drawdown: $2,000 on Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro. The homepage shows "$1.5K or $2K" for Builder; our rules database lists $2,000 at 50K.
- Daily loss: per our rules database, $1,000 on Builder and none on Rapid, Rapid EOD or Pro.
- Consistency: 50% on Builder. None on Rapid, Rapid EOD or Pro.
- Fastest pass: 1 day on Builder, 2 on Rapid and Pro, 4 on Rapid EOD, per the homepage.
What this means: MFFU's 50K gives $2,000 of room for a $3,000 target. FTMO's 2-Step gives 10% of room for a 10% first-phase target. FTMO's limits are wider in relative terms, but its accounts cost more.
Drawdown type
- FTMO 2-Step: static 10% floor.
- FTMO 1-Step: trails your highest end-of-day balance.
- MFFU Builder, Rapid EOD and Pro: end-of-day trailing.
- MFFU Rapid: labelled intraday on the homepage. Per our rules database, the evaluation limit is end-of-day and it becomes intraday trailing once Sim Funded.
- MFFU Studio: a static max loss of $250, $500 or $1,000.
Intraday trailing counts open profit, so a winning trade that reverses can tighten your floor. Our guide to end-of-day vs intraday trailing drawdown covers the difference.

Verdict

MFFU is cheaper and pays fast on Rapid, but its 50K drawdown is tight and its plans need careful reading. Futures traders who prefer the FTMO brand should compare FTMO Futures too.
