The5ers vs My Funded Futures
The5ers vs My Funded Futures compared: CFD vs futures programs, prices, loss limits, drawdown types, payout speed, splits and platforms.

The5ers and My Funded Futures (MFFU) are not direct rivals for most traders. The5ers is mainly a forex and CFD firm on MT5. MFFU sells evaluations on US exchange-listed futures only. The5ers now runs a separate futures program as well, so futures traders have two options to weigh. Our guide to forex vs futures prop firms covers the market choice first. Everything below was checked on each firm's official site on 3 November 2026.

Drawdown type
The5ers' 2-Step CFD plans use a max loss measured from the initial balance, so the floor stays put. The5ers Futures measures its 4% max loss at end of day.
MFFU uses an end-of-day trailing max loss on Builder, Rapid EOD and Pro, and in the Rapid evaluation. Funded Rapid accounts switch to an intraday trailing max loss from the equity high, which locks at $100. Studio is the exception: its static floor never moves.
What this means: if you want a floor that doesn't follow your profits, look at The5ers' 2-Step plans or MFFU Studio. Our guide to end-of-day vs intraday trailing drawdown explains the Rapid switch.

Who each suits
The5ers suits
- Forex, metals and index CFD traders who hold for days.
- Traders who want a fixed floor and a long scaling path.
- Budget traders testing the waters with Hyper Growth or Bootcamp.
My Funded Futures suits
- Intraday futures traders who want one target and one fee.
- Traders who want daily payouts at 90/10 (Rapid).
- Small-account futures traders, via Studio's static drawdown.
Downsides
- The5ers: conflicting prices across official pages, payout caps and a 30-day inactivity expiry.
- MFFU: five plan types to compare, intraday trailing on funded Rapid, and 80/20 with caps on Builder and Pro.
Verdict
For CFD and forex traders, The5ers is the relevant choice; MFFU doesn't offer those markets. For US futures day traders, MFFU has the wider plan range, one-time fees and $0 activation. The5ers Futures is worth a look if you like its scaling approach, but its official page leaves some details unclear. Read the full The5ers review and My Funded Futures review.
