FundedNext Adds 20 Stock CFDs to Every CFD Account

FundedNext has added stock CFDs to its CFD accounts. The firm announced the change in a blog post dated 8 September 2026. Traders can now trade individual shares alongside forex, indices and commodities.

What changed

FundedNext lists 20 stock CFD symbols. Fourteen are US equities and six are European. They span technology, semiconductors, automotive, consumer, aerospace, entertainment and health care. Apple (AAPL) is the worked example in the post.

Access is included. FundedNext says every active model and package now includes stock CFDs. There is no upgrade tier, waitlist or extra purchase.

The key terms

  • Symbols: 20 stock CFDs (14 US, 6 European).
  • Leverage: 1:2 on all 20 symbols.
  • Commission: 0.004% per lot.
  • Contract size: 1. Pip value: $0.10 per lot, used for swap calculations.
  • Platforms: MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader.
  • US clients: Match-Trader only.
  • Accounts: both Challenge accounts and funded FundedNext Accounts.

The post does not list trading hours or every ticker in text. Check the symbol specs on your platform before you trade.

Same rules, no exceptions

FundedNext says the daily loss limit, overall drawdown and consistency rules work on stock positions exactly as on forex. There are no stock-specific exceptions. The firm also says its 24-hour payout processing commitment and its $1,000 Brand Promise for eligible delays apply to stock profits.

In practice, a stock trade counts toward your profit target and your drawdown like any other trade. A losing stock day can also affect any consistency check on your account.

Who it affects

This affects anyone holding or buying a FundedNext CFD account. It matters most to traders who follow single stocks, such as around earnings. Forex-only traders lose nothing, since access is optional.

The post covers the CFD side of FundedNext. It does not describe changes to FundedNext's futures accounts.

What it means for traders

More markets can mean more setups. But stock CFDs behave differently from forex, and the challenge rules do not bend for them.

  • Low leverage. At 1:2, you need a lot of margin for a meaningful position. That limits size, which can be a good thing for risk.
  • Gaps. Shares can gap at the open, especially after earnings. A gap can blow through a stop and hit your daily loss limit in one move.
  • Overnight and weekend risk. Holding stocks through closed hours adds gap risk. Read our guide to weekend and overnight holding rules.
  • News days. Earnings and company news can move single stocks far more than a currency pair. See news trading rules at prop firms.
  • Swap costs. Holding CFD positions overnight carries swap charges.

What 1:2 leverage looks like

At 1:2, a position worth $10,000 ties up about $5,000 of margin. On a $25K account, that caps how many stock positions you can hold at once. It also means stocks will rarely be your biggest exposure.

The drawdown maths still applies in full. A 5% move against a $10,000 stock position is a $500 loss. On a small account, that can be a large share of the daily limit.

Size stock trades from your stop distance, not from leverage. Our position size calculator helps you keep each trade inside the daily limit.

Downsides to weigh

  • Only 20 symbols, so coverage is narrow compared with a stock broker.
  • No stock-specific rule relief, so gaps count fully against your limits.
  • US traders are limited to Match-Trader.
