FundedNext vs My Funded Futures

FundedNext is mainly a forex and CFD prop firm. My Funded Futures (MFFU) sells only futures evaluations. FundedNext's own site now lists a futures desk too, called FundedNext Futures. Both firms charge one-time fees with no activation fee, so the futures comparison is close. Rules and prices were checked on each firm's official site and help center on 3 November 2026.

Pick your market first

Forex and futures challenges work differently. CFD accounts usually allow weekend holds and use percentage rules. Futures accounts use dollar rules, exchange hours and contract limits. If you are not sure which market fits you, read our guide to forex vs futures prop firms first.

  • You trade forex pairs, gold or index CFDs on MetaTrader: My Funded Futures has nothing for you. Look at FundedNext's Stellar challenges.
  • You trade CME futures: compare FundedNext Futures with My Funded Futures. That is the main part of this guide.

  • Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily: $79.99 for 25K. One help page lists the 50K at $149.99, another at $169.99.

Current codes: MFFU's homepage says "Save 40% On Any Plan With Code CLUB". It also shows a separate 50% offer on a first evaluation for new traders. The homepage showed Builder 50K at $92 against $153. FundedNext's futures page shows FNFLEX. Codes change, so check at checkout. Live offers are on our prop firm discounts page.

What this means: with codes, Flex 50K ($74.99) and Builder 50K ($92) are close. Flex asks for less profit but gives a smaller floor.

If you want FundedNext for forex

The Stellar challenges are a different product. They start at $32.99 for a 5K Stellar Lite account. Every Stellar plan uses a static max loss and no time limit. Weekend holding is allowed. The Stellar 2-Step page showed code NOVSTR with "save up to 41%" when we checked. Our Stellar rules guide covers them in full.

Profit targets and loss limits

FundedNext Futures

  • Flex: $2,500, $5,000 or $8,000 target; $1,500, $2,500 or $4,000 max loss; no daily limit; 40% consistency in the challenge. Flex rules.
  • Rapid Pro: $1,500, $3,000 or $5,000 target; $1,000, $2,000 or $2,500 max loss; optional daily limit add-on; no challenge consistency rule. Rapid Pro rules.
  • Rapid Daily: same targets, with a fixed daily limit of $500, $1,000 or $1,250.

My Funded Futures

  • Targets: 6% on Builder, Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro, such as $3,000 on 50K.
  • Max loss: $1,000 (25K), $2,000 (50K), $3,000 (100K), $4,500 (150K), per our rules database.
  • Rapid: no daily limit, a 50% consistency rule and two minimum days in the evaluation. Rapid 50K guide.
  • Rapid EOD: four minimum days. Builder: one minimum day and a soft daily limit ($1,000 on 50K, per our rules database).
  • Studio: a 10% target with a static max loss of $250, $500 or $1,000, and no daily limit.

What this means: at 50K, FundedNext Rapid and every main MFFU plan ask for $3,000 with a $2,000 floor. At 100K, FundedNext Rapid needs $5,000 against MFFU's $6,000, with a $2,500 floor against $3,000.

Drawdown type

This is the biggest rule difference.

  • FundedNext Futures: end-of-day trailing in the challenge and funded stages on every plan. It stops at the start balance plus $100.
  • MFFU Rapid: end-of-day in the evaluation. Once sim funded, it trails your equity high intraday and locks at $100.
  • MFFU Builder, Pro and Rapid EOD: end-of-day trailing.
  • MFFU Studio: static. The guide says the limit "never moves".

Intraday trailing follows open profit, so a winner that reverses can lift your floor. See end-of-day vs intraday trailing drawdown.

Payouts and splits

FundedNext Futures

  • Flex: 95%. Five benchmark days per cycle. Up to 50% of profit, capped at $1,500, $2,500 or $4,000. Flex funded rules.
  • Rapid Pro: 90%, every 3 days, 40% consistency, caps of $800 to $2,500. Rapid Pro funded rules.
  • Rapid Daily: 90%, daily above a buffer.
  • Flex and Rapid Daily funded accounts end after the 5th reward.

My Funded Futures

From MFFU's payout policy:

  • Rapid: 90%, daily, first request 24 hours after your first trade. You need a $2,100 buffer on 50K and a $500 minimum. No cap is stated.
  • Builder: 80%, payouts in as little as 2 days. The 50K caps each request at $2,000.
  • Pro: 80%, every 14 calendar days, $1,000 minimum.
  • Studio: 80/20 in sim, 90/10 once live; requests any time once flat.

FundedNext pays the higher split on Flex, but caps each payout. MFFU Rapid has no stated cap, but it uses an intraday funded floor. Our payout rules guide explains the trade-offs.

Platforms and instruments

Restrictions

  • Overnight: neither allows it. Our rules database lists no overnight holding at MFFU. FundedNext's terms require flat positions before the trading day ends.
  • News: MFFU allows tier 1 news in the Rapid evaluation but not on the Rapid sim funded account. FundedNext's futures pages we read gave no news rule.
  • Bots and hedging: FundedNext allows bots but may review them, and bans hedging across accounts.
  • Countries: FundedNext's country list does not mention the US. Check with support.

Downsides of each

FundedNext Futures

  • Conflicting Rapid prices across help pages.
  • Tight Flex floor and contract limits at 50K.
  • Some funded accounts close after five rewards.
  • A young futures desk.

My Funded Futures

  • Rapid turns intraday once funded.
  • Builder and Pro pay 80/20, with caps or a 14-day wait.
  • Five plan types to compare.
  • Some plan pages contradict each other, per our review notes.

Who each suits

  • Forex and CFD traders: FundedNext Stellar. MFFU has no CFDs.
  • Traders who want end-of-day drawdown after funding: FundedNext Futures, or MFFU Rapid EOD and Builder.
  • Traders who want uncapped daily payouts: MFFU Rapid.
  • Traders who want a fixed floor: MFFU Studio.
  • Quantower, ATAS or DeepChart users: MFFU.

Verdict

Pick the market first. For forex, only FundedNext fits. For futures, the two are evenly matched on billing. FundedNext keeps end-of-day drawdown once funded and pays up to 95%, but caps payouts and ends some accounts after five rewards. MFFU offers more plans and platforms, and Rapid pays daily without a stated cap. Read our FundedNext review, our My Funded Futures review and our MFFU plans compared guide.
