The5ers vs Tradeify

The5ers and Tradeify serve different markets. The5ers is mainly a forex and CFD prop firm, with MT5-based challenges on currencies, metals, indices, oil and crypto. Tradeify is a US futures prop firm trading CME-listed contracts. The5ers has recently added a futures program too, so the overlap is growing. If you're still deciding between the two markets, start with our guide to forex vs futures prop firms. Prices and rules below were checked on each firm's official site on 3 November 2026.

Profit targets and loss limits

The5ers CFD programs

  • High Stakes: 10% then 5% targets, 5% daily loss, 10% max loss, 3 profitable days per step. Official rules.
  • $100K 2-Step plan: 10/5 or 8/5 targets, 3% daily loss, 10% max loss from the initial balance.
  • 1-Step: 10% target, 3% daily loss, 6% max loss.
  • Hyper Growth: 10% target, 3% daily loss, 6% stop-out.

The5ers Futures

  • Day Trade and Swing programs at $25K and $50K.
  • 6% evaluation target and a 4% max loss, measured end-of-day. Official futures page.
  • A 40% consistency rule applied per position.
  • 2 minis or 20 micros at the start.

Tradeify (50K example)

  • Growth: $3,000 target, $1,250 daily loss (a soft breach), $2,000 max drawdown, 1 minimum day, no evaluation consistency rule. Official Growth rules.
  • Select: $3,000 target, no daily loss, $2,000 max drawdown, 3 minimum days, 40% consistency. Official Select rules.

What this means: The5ers' two-step plans need two targets but give 10% of room. Tradeify's targets are 6% in a single step, with 4% of drawdown at 50K.

Drawdown type

This is the biggest structural gap. The5ers' 2-Step max loss is measured from the initial balance, so the floor doesn't move as you profit. Tradeify uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown. The floor rises with your best closing balance. Tradeify still enforces the level in real time: touching it intraday fails the account. The5ers Futures also uses an end-of-day max loss.

See trailing vs static drawdown for how each floor behaves, or test numbers with our drawdown calculator.

Payouts and splits

The5ers

  • Bi-weekly payouts once the account reaches the funded Pro stage.
  • High Stakes: 80% split, rising to 85%, 90% and 100% as the account scales. Caps are $3,000 per payout on 50K and $4,000 on 100K.
  • $100K 2-Step and 1-Step plans: 75/25 split, $250 minimum and a $2,000 cap per payout cycle.
  • Futures: the scaling example uses an 80/20 split, with scaling up to $500K.

Tradeify

  • 90/10 split on Growth, Select and Lightning.
  • Growth funded: 5 winning days per payout ($150 each on 50K), a 35% consistency rule and caps that rise from $1,500 to $3,000 per request on 50K.
  • Select Flex: payouts every 5 winning days, no daily loss limit, a $2,500 cap per payout on 50K.
  • Select Daily: daily payout eligibility, a $250 minimum, a $2,100 buffer and a $1,250 cap on 50K. Official payout policies.

Platforms and instruments

  • The5ers: MT5 on High Stakes and Hyper Growth, per the program pages. Per our rules database, cTrader and TradingView are also offered. Futures evaluations run on BlackArrow.
  • The5ers instruments: FX, metals, indices, oil and crypto CFDs. Hyper Growth adds stocks.
  • Tradeify: Tradovate, WealthCharts and Rithmic/Tradesea, per its homepage. Our rules database also lists NinjaTrader.

Trading restrictions

The5ers

  • High Stakes bars trading moves from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news.
  • Overnight and weekend holding are allowed on CFD programs. Index CFDs held over a weekend carry a high swap.
  • Futures Day Trade positions must close at least 10 minutes before market close. The Swing program bans weekend holding.
  • Accounts expire after 30 days without activity.

Tradeify

  • No overnight holding. Close by 4:45 PM ET on regular days. Official trading rules.
  • News trading is allowed on all accounts.
  • Bots are allowed only if you solely own the strategy. High-frequency bots and hedging across accounts are banned.
  • On funded accounts, over 50% of trades and profits must come from positions held longer than 10 seconds.

Who each suits

The5ers suits

  • Forex, gold and index CFD traders on MT5.
  • Swing traders who want to hold overnight and over weekends.
  • Traders who prefer a fixed max-loss floor.
  • Patient traders aiming for a long scaling path.

Tradeify suits

  • Intraday futures traders on NQ, ES, gold or crude.
  • Traders who want one target and a 90% split from the start.
  • Traders who want to pass fast: Growth has a 1-day minimum.

Downsides

  • The5ers: some official pages contradict each other on prices. Payout caps apply, and the cheaper plans pay 75%.
  • Tradeify: trailing drawdown, no overnight holds, payout caps and three account types with different rules.

Verdict

Pick by market first. If you trade currencies or CFDs and hold positions for days, The5ers fits and Tradeify doesn't. If you day-trade CME futures, Tradeify is built for that, with a single target and a 90% split. The5ers Futures is an option for futures traders who like The5ers' scaling model. It's newer, though, and its official page leaves some terms unclear. Read the full The5ers review and Tradeify review before you buy.
