Prop firm cost calculator: the true cost to get funded

A cheap sticker price can cost more once you add monthly billing, activation fees and failed attempts. Set your plan and see every challenge we track ranked by what it really costs to get a funded account.

How the true cost is calculated

The headline price of a challenge is only part of what you pay. This calculator adds up the costs most traders actually face before they hold a funded account, using the prices we verified on each firm's official site.

  • One-time plans: price after any code × the number of attempts you expect to need.
  • Monthly plans: monthly price after any code × months billed, where months billed = attempts × months per attempt, rounded up to whole months.
  • Activation fees: added once, after you pass, where the firm charges one and we have verified the amount.
  • Instant accounts: one purchase, because there is no evaluation to fail.
Why the cheapest sticker price can lose

A $49 a month futures evaluation with a $149 activation fee costs $247 if you need two months. A $153 one-time evaluation taken twice costs $306, but only $184 with a 40% code. Small changes in how long you expect to take can change which plan is cheapest, so try a few values.

How to use it

  • Pick your market and account size, then narrow by challenge type or drawdown style if you have a preference.
  • Set attempts honestly. If you have failed challenges before, use that history rather than assuming a first-time pass.
  • For monthly plans, set how many months each attempt usually takes you.
  • Turn discount codes off to compare list prices, or on to see what you would pay with the codes we list.

What it does not include

  • Reset fees, paid add-ons, platform or data fees, taxes and card charges.
  • Fee refunds some firms pay with your first payout.
  • Activation fees we have not been able to verify; these rows are flagged in red.
  • Rules, which matter as much as price. A cheap plan with a tight trailing drawdown may take more attempts, so open the full rules before you buy.

Cut the cost further with a verified code

Every code we list is checked on the firm's own site, and none of them raise the price you pay.
