FundedNext vs Take Profit Trader
FundedNext vs Take Profit Trader: FundedNext's CFD plans and one-time futures desk vs TPT's monthly Test. Prices, drawdown, payouts and verdict.

FundedNext is mostly known for forex and CFD challenges. Take Profit Trader (TPT) is a US futures prop firm. FundedNext's own site now also sells FundedNext Futures, so there is a real futures comparison here. The billing models differ: FundedNext charges once, while TPT bills its Test monthly. Rules and prices were checked on each firm's official site and help center on 3 November 2026.
Pick your market first
Forex and futures challenges work differently. CFD accounts usually allow weekend holds and use percentage rules. Futures accounts use dollar rules, exchange hours and contract limits. If you are not sure which market fits you, read our guide to forex vs futures prop firms first.

Drawdown type
- FundedNext Futures: end-of-day trailing in every challenge and funded account. It stops at the start balance plus $100. Live losses that touch it still breach the account.
- TPT Test: end-of-day, and it stops trailing at the starting balance.
- TPT PRO: intraday trailing, per our rules database. It follows open profit.
- TPT PRO+: end-of-day, with no buffer, per the homepage.
The switch to intraday at PRO is the key thing to plan for. Read end-of-day vs intraday trailing drawdown and test your numbers in the drawdown calculator.
